The FlameCare VIP Maintenance Membership makes routine care easier to keep up with, with an annual inspection and cleaning visit and member savings when additional service is needed.

Annual inspection and cleaning visit

With the FlameCare VIP Maintenance Membership, every autumn our team performs the maintenance appropriate for your gas logs or fireplace, including:

→ Gas-leak inspection
→ Burner-pressure and draft testing, where applicable
→ Safety-valve diagnostics
→ Carbon-monoxide testing
→ Pilot and burner-port/orifice cleaning
→ Firebox soot and dust removal
→ Fireplace-glass cleaning, where applicable
→ Glowing-ember and lava-rock refresh, where applicable
→ Remote and switch battery replacement, where applicable

Priority scheduling

Members receive priority scheduling over nonmember service requests.

During busy periods, nonmember appointments may be booked two to three weeks out. Membership gives your request scheduling priority, although appointment availability varies and a specific response time is not guaranteed.

 

Savings on additional service

When your covered gas logs or fireplace needs additional work, your membership includes:

  • 10% off replacement parts

  • 50% off service-call labor fees

Repairs and replacement parts are billed separately from your included annual maintenance visit. Applicable travel charges are separate.

Gas logs and fireplaces installed by Smucker include parts-and-labor coverage for the first year.

When that coverage ends, the Fireplace Care Membership gives you a way to continue with annual maintenance, priority scheduling, and member service savings.

Questions about the membership?

  • No. Your membership includes one maintenance visit per 12-month membership term. Monthly payments spread the annual membership cost across the year.

  • No. The program is open to gas logs and fireplaces of any brand or condition. The services performed depend on the equipment and its condition.

  • Let us know when you enroll. Repairs needed to address existing problems are separate from the included maintenance visit. Our team will explain any recommended work and its cost before proceeding.

  • Your annual inspection and cleaning are included. Additional repairs are billed separately, with 10% off parts and 50% off service-call labor fees for members.
